Hello, I’m Monica, founder of Davis Language Academy.

My love for languages, language acquisition and bilingualism has developed over time. Having been raised as a Spanish speaker, then learning ESL as a teenager and getting my masters in the Russian language, helped me better understand the process of acquiring foreign languages at different ages.

My approach is to teach language in the most natural way possible; taking into account the students’ age, interests, and unique goals. I have been an educator for over 20 years and seeing my students thrive while accomplishing their goals is one of the things I enjoy the most.
